Passing Place Ettiquette

The general rule here is that when two cars meet coming from opposing directions there’s a race to see who can pull in first and be the most courteous driver – allowing the other driver to pass. Honestly – you’ll be astounded at how many people pull in to do this. They’ll usually flash their lights to signal you to come on but if they’ve pulled in to the side that’s usually sign enough. We’re very used to this situation here – happens all the time and the quickest way to deal with it is how I’ve just described. It also avoids any stand-offs and testosterone flexing.
