I like buses. Some of the most memorable moments I had in south America occured on buses. But getting buses and coaches to and from the Cotswolds isn't great. It's possible to get to some cities outside the Cotswolds like Oxford and Cheltenham but you can also reach those by train more efficiently
My advice would be - don't get a bus or a coach to or from the Cotswolds
